Hearts of Hopers Support Group
At the Journey Institute, we believe that no parent should feel alone when their child (ren) has been diagnosed with a disability. We understand that being a parent of a child with special needs can be a challenge and that the journey is filled with hills and valleys, and sometimes can feel a little overwhelming. So at our Hearts of Hopers support group offer parents the opportunity to connect with other parents in a supportive environment to gain insights on ways of supporting their special needs child. Our trained professionals provide opportunities for parents to process their pain and challenges that comes with learning about their child’s diagnosis. Our support group are free of charge to families of young children birth to five with any disability or special needs. We meet Monthly on the First Wednesday of each month from 10:00am-11:20am.
